WHERE I COME FROM

A native of Georgetown, S.C., I earned my bachelor’s degree in marketing from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington, where I was a member of the women’s golf team, and earned my Master of Business Administration from Coastal Carolina University.

Leadership Philosophy and Experience

With 11 years of experience as a green grass Golf Professional and over 17 years dedicated to higher education, I have built my career around mentoring and serving others. At the core of my leadership approach is the principle of servant leadership, which prioritizes the growth, well-being, and success of others—including team members, colleagues, students, and the organization as a whole—before my own interests. As I often say, strive to get a little better every day. By working together and embracing our collective strengths, we can make a lasting impact and advance our profession for our PGA Members, Associates and Students.

To serve as Secretary of the PGA of America to support our Members and Associates, while enhancing our Association, and leading us towards a stronger future... together.

Education, mentoring and serving others is at the heart of my leadership. A servant leader focuses first on the growth, well-being, and success of others- team members, colleagues, students and the organization as a whole—before their own interests.

My leadership experience as both a Section leader and District 10 Director has shown me the importance of listening and collaborating. I lead with thoughtful discipline-- intentional, steady, and focused on doing what’s right for our Members. I’m ready to serve as Secretary to support our Members, enhance our Association, and lead us toward a stronger future together.
